The Research
This framework was developed using feedback from 750 Managers who undertook managerial training workshops and had to define the range of skills required for the modern Manager.
The list was refined over a two-year time-frame and gives the Manager good insight into their skill base and development needs.
How do I use it?
The Management Skills Inventory can be included as an element in an ongoing managerial process every year.
The results of the questionnaire work as a great catalyst to carry out pertinent training and development with managers.
Then, because the profile allows you to complete the questionnaire a number of times and compare the results in the one report, the organisation can measure the improvement in their manager's performance over time.
