The HPTI is based on a pragmatic observation and analysis of teams in action, inside and outside Workshops, and before and after them over four years. It is experientially driven, rather than psychometrically driven. The teams observed were Executive teams in Multi-National Corporations in the Asia Pacific/Australasian regions. Problems, needs and solutions were exhaustively discussed with HR Directors and line executives.
The author has 15 years experience as a senior HR executive and member of Executive Committees, followed by nearly 20 years experience as an HR Consultant, specialising in individual and team coaching. He has worked and studied in Europe, Asia Pacific and USA, and was a Founding Director of a HR consulting firm which grew from three to 90 consultants over 10 years, before selling it to a US multinational firm and starting his own consultancy practice.
