Assessment



What is it?
Assessment in the workplace context can involve a variety of activities. These can include:

  • Knowledge testing
  • Evaluation of skill or competence by an assessor with subject expertise
  • Observations of behaviour by people in the workplace
  • Self assessments of perceived behaviour, skill, or knowledge
  • Review of achievement conducted by a Manager

Assessments can be conducted through any of the following processes:

  • Observation
  • Completion of questionnaires
  • Interview
  • Completion of tasks
