HRworkbench is a progressive Hunter based business that provides high-quality, multilingual, Internet-based solutions to the Human Resource Industry globally.

We are seeking the services of an experienced Project Co-ordinator to join our International Development and Support Centre (IDSC) in Newcastle, NSW. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that client projects are implemented smoothly and efficiently and meet the client’s requirements and expectations. The Project Co-ordinator will also manage support staff resources and monitor the progress of client project implementations.

This position may also suit mature applicants with a strong administration background that wish to return to full time work.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • High level of problem solving skills with the ability to interpret Client requirements into project deliverables
  • Project management skills with expertise in associated project management tools or other appropriate tools to coordinate resources and activities
  • Able to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently
  • Intermediate to Advanced PC skills in Microsoft office particular Excel and Word
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and be capable of communicating effectively in a range of situations, with both internal staff and clients
  • Strong attention to detail with the focus on continuous quality improvement
  • Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Ability to work within a team but also without direct supervision
  • Positive and pro-active approach with willingness and ability to learn new skills quickly
