Alan Rands is the CEO of HRworkbench Pty Ltd. Alan has been engaged in training and organisational development activities for over twenty years. Key milestones in his training and development career include:

  • 10 years facilitating management and other business related training programs for TAFE part time
  • incorporated his own Consultancy firm to deliver training and development interventions to the corporate sector
  • provided personal strategic advice on managing people to leading executives in the Banking, Oil, Motor Industries and the Government sector
  • Won the Australian Institute of Training and Development "High Distinction" award for Training Design in 1996
  • Won awards for Best Practice in Adult Education in 1997
  • Has designed and managed major training initiatives for front line staff (2,000 people at State Rail) through to Senior Executive Development (Esanda, ESSO)
  • Has designed and developed major integrated training programs for Management Development Succession Pool creation (Dept Corrective Services)
